The Woodlands, TX · Since 2004

Built on 20 Years
of Trust.

Ron and Nancy Ryan founded Total Home in 2004 with a simple idea: homeowners deserve one person they can call for everything — someone who shows up, follows through, and treats their home like their own. Twenty years later, that idea hasn't changed.

"Adan takes the time to explain what the issues are, alternatives we should consider, and the details supporting his recommendations. Exceptionally thorough. We look forward to many more years working with Adan and Total Home."

The Founders

Ron & Nancy Ryan

Ron and Nancy Ryan spent 20 years building something The Woodlands doesn't have much of — a home care service where clients become family. Ron brought a builder's eye: seven years as an independent residential builder, ten years with Village Builders, a real estate broker's license, and a home inspector's license. Nancy ran the relationships, kept the details from slipping, and made sure the standard of care never changed.

In their own words: "We create a partnership with homeowners — so much so that we often become like part of the family. We love freeing our clients from worry so they can devote more time to family, church, community, and travel."

Day-to-Day Leadership

Adan & Abby Miranda

Ron and Adan didn't meet at a job interview. They met on a Hope for Honduras mission trip — one of the many ministries Total Home has supported over the years. When Ron was ready to pass the business on, he turned to someone whose character he had already seen firsthand, not on paper but in the field.

That is how Total Home has always worked. Character first. Not credentials alone.

Adan grew up in Baja California and spent six years building over 150 homes for families living in poverty in Mexico with Youth With A Mission. He wasn't paid to care about those families — he just did.

That promise led him to a 20-year career managing residential high-rises, commercial facilities, nationwide vacation properties, and airport operations across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Adan now leads day-to-day operations at Total Home. Ron remains closely involved — the contractor network is intact and the commitment to clients hasn't changed.

Adan and Abby Miranda have three young children and live in the community they serve. Abby manages marketing, strategy, and business development. They didn't buy a business — they inherited a trust, and they intend to keep it.

Our Values

Trust

We only work with contractors we'd hire for our own homes. Every person in our network has earned their place over years of consistent work.

Commitment

No job is too small. From changing a light bulb to managing a full remodel — every client receives the same care.

Accountability

Every job is overseen and followed through to completion. We don't consider something done until the client does.

Community

Total Home actively supports Joni & Friends, Hope 4 Honduras, and Upper Peninsula Bible Camp.

"Total Home is so much more than a handyman service. As the name suggests, they take care of our home TOTALLY. They have a team of the best contractors and are reliable and efficient in all aspects of the business."

— Satisfied Client, The Woodlands

Our Ministry Partners

We believe business is a platform for doing good. Ron and Adan donate their time and money to these ministries — organizations they have served alongside personally for years, not just names on a list.

Homes of Hope — YWAM San Diego/Baja

Homes of Hope

Adan has served with Homes of Hope for over 20 years — building homes for families in Baja, Mexico in just two days. He met his wife Abby while serving on a build together. They both say the experience changed their lives as much as the families they served. YWAM San Diego/Baja mobilizes churches, businesses, and families to make it happen.
